Spare a thought for David Cameron's Twitter mentions...

REMEMBER #PIGGATE?
Who are we kidding, of course you remember #piggate.
Today David Cameron tweeted for the first time since the scandal erupted and acted like nothing was up.
“We’re committing another £100m to refugee camps,” he tweeted. (But what he really meant was, “Please God can we move on from the pig thing?”)
And everyone replied, “Well done, David! That’s great news!” and nobody ever spoke of the pig thing again.
Just kidding!
The pig thing is still very much at the forefront of everyone’s mind, as evidenced by the replies to Cameron’s tweet.
Let’s just say that there were lots of pig emojis.
And just general pig references.
You know how everyone replies to Gary Lineker’s tweets with the phrase “shat on”?
It’s like that, but much, much worse.
Whoops!
We couldn't find this Tweet
Godspeed, David.
